SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

Responsibility and authority for implementing the overall strategic marketing and sales plans for the company including developing and driving the strategy for each Brand; controlling Trade and Marketing budget; devising and executing marketing campaigns; maintaining sales structures to ensure organisational efficiencies and developing product ranging and pricing strategies to deliver sales targets.

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • A Bachelors degree in commerce
  • At least 10 years experience in a top-tier multinational FMCG food company
  • Solid sales background within the Food Service and FMCG environment with a track record of achieving targets
  • Brand management and marketing experience
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to read and manage profit and loss statements
  • Project management experience

KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Responsible for implementing the overall strategic marketing and sales plans
  • Use Global Group best practice to develop and drive the strategy for each Brand influencing business teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain etc.
  • Control Trade and Marketing budget to ensure it is aligned with strategic goals and is implemented at operational level to support sales target achievement
  • Maintain sales structures to ensure organisational efficiencies and ownership of relationships between the company and the Trade
  • Devise and execute marketing campaigns by Brand, by channel and by customer
  • Develop product ranging and pricing strategies in line with the overall strategy
  • Direct and develop subordinates to ensure they are motivated, have clear goals and the necessary resources to achieve the agreed goals
  • Manage the consumer response program
  • Understands and apply critical technical and functional leverage points to achieve outstanding financial and overall business results
  • Develop strategic reviews for specific customers/channels identifying key business opportunities and risks
  • Utilise relationship skills to foster collaborative partnerships in achieving common goals, break down communication barriers effectively and effectively share information across functions/divisions
