TOTAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITY: 15 people  

SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: Assume responsibility and authority for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and actions to grow the current market and develop new markets in South Africa to achieve sustainable earnings growth  

GROUP BACKGROUND: International Logistical Services Group

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of seven years direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience, selling complex service solutions to international organisations, the last five of which should have been in a leadership role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Track record of managing a sales and marketing division of at least five people
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written
  • Ideally have gained experience in a multi-national environment  

KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Develop and manage the Sales team 
  • Develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure the development of a pipeline of new sales prospects
  • Effectively manage the client relationships; strategic business partnerships; marketing; client services; and sales support related functions
